Today I did something silly. And I’m not talking about the masses of housework I spent the morning doing. I’m talking about A Glimpse Into Darkness. It’s the short story I wrote to accompany The Keepers’ Chronicles for the release of the second book in the series. And it is now out. Officially. Available to buy for all ereaders, and soon to be available through B&N, Amazon, Sony, iTunes, and everywhere else.

It’s early, I know, but the date for this one has never been set in stone, and as the anniversary of The Last Keeper has just passed, I had a whim to remind myself all about ebook formatting and get this short story out.

A Glimpse INto DarknessSummary:

Set in the U.S.S.R in 1964, this short accompaniment to The Keepers’ Chronicles explores the missing years from book one. Lost without her mate, Serenity Cardea is barely clinging to what little sanity she has left. Every day is a struggle, and the only thing keeping her going is the family she surrounds herself with and her duties as protector of the balance between the races.

Deep in the Russian wilderness, the Wolves are in trouble. They’ve gotten on the wrong side of a group of vampires, and now their village has been burned to the ground. With Serenity’s help, they are forced to flee their home and start again.

Where to buy:

Soon to be on Amazon, B&N, and the iBookstore.

And the price? $.99 an absolute bargain!
