Michelle’s Review:

This was a short read but even with its length it didn’t really capture my attention. The flow and pacing of it was my favourite part and it went from one event to another with ease. I feel, however, that it would have been better had the author started with the events in the club and then gone on, instead of starting at the end and then working their way back to it.

However, the biggest issue for me was that there wasn’t much of an emotional connection with the character. The emotions that were mentioned were told not shown, leaving me with a feeling of detachment from the story.

Having said that, I enjoyed the read, and for a free ebook, it certainly passed the time.

  1. Thank you for giving it a look! 😀

There’s a longer version in the works – possibly even a novel in there – but I’m not sure if it will see the light of day.

    Thanks again!
